GenderIT.org GenderIT.org emerged from the Association for Progressive Communications Women's Networking Support Programme's advocacy work in information and communications technologies (ICTs). The need to have examples of national policy, gender-sensitive language, tools for lobbying, and an understanding of the impact of poor or positive policy all within easy access has been expressed by ICT advocates and policy makers alike.

Developed under the GNU General Public License , the source code for Linux is freely available to everyone. Mozilla - Mozilla is develloper of open source web-browsers and related software packages, such as the Thunderbird e-mail client, which are free to download from the site. eSEEEurope The aim of eSEEurope Initiative in general is to better integrate SEE countries into the global, knowledge-based economy by regionally supporting the development of Information Society. The eSEE Initiative provides a balanced policy and cooperation framework and provides one of the best examples of regional cooperation in the Stability Pact Practice. Actions undertaken by eSEEurope are complementary to the effort of drawing SEE closer to eEurope. |
