The goal of the School is to enable the young people to recognize and strengthen, through a series of lectures, their own potentials to overcome the past in the process of establishment of a democratic, multicultural society based on mutual trust, respect for the diversity and intercultural communication.

The lectures will be given, among the others, James Lyon from the Belgrade office of the International Crisis Group, who will speak about “Serbia: Facing Reality”, Zarko Korac on the subject of “Political Scene in Contemporary Serbia”, and Srdja Popovic on the Hagua Tribunal.

"School of Democracy" is organized under the auspices of the “Building up Democracy and Good Governance in Multiethnic Communities” project, supported by the European Commission’s European Initiative for Democracy and human Rights.
