�Open Information Sciences� Awards Presented

CLUC/DORS 2005

The oldest and biggest tradional Linux conference in Croatia, CLUC/DORS 2005, was held from April 20-22 at the School of Electronics and Computer Sciences in Zagreb.

The CLUC/DORS 2005 Conference presented the �Open Information Sciences� Award for achievement in the field of open information. The award is presented by Croatian Association of Linux Users HULK and HrOpen.

The award for 2004 went to Denis Lackovic, as a recognition of his work on the localization of software, especially OpenOffice.org, and the preparation of Croatian spell-checker.

The aim of the awards is to stimulate the individuals and organizations to continue with their work on improvement of Open Source/Linux in Croatia.
