The campaign planned by GONG for the Local Elections 2005 is directed at informing the citizens on the electoral processes for the local and regional self-government.

It also aims to provide information on the election monitoring by educated nonpartisan observers and mobile teams, as well as reporting on the results and findings from the electoral process to the national and international public.

An educational campaign with video and audio clips and printed material for distribution was designed to ensure a better understanding of the electoral process and the bodies of the local and regional self-government on the begalf or the citizens.

The web site www.izbori-hr.info offers useful information about the electoral legislation, processes and local and regional self-government. Also, the interested citizens and organizations can get more information and advise about the election process and the appropriate instances that can provide the sought information on the phone line 060 202020, or by e-mail at gong@gong.hr.
