If you want to participate in the work of Digital Opportunity ChannelÂ…

...we would be delighted to have you on board! Whether as an individual interested in ICT for development and digital opportunity issues, or an organisation active in the field of ICT for development, you can participate in our work.

Individual membership

As an individual, you can become a member of the Digital Opportunity Channel community. Your membership of the channel, which is free of cost, automatically entitles you the membership of the OneWorld Network of over 1,500 organisations.

As a member you can choose to receive weekly email digests not only from Digital Opportunity Channel but from other OneWorld sites too, containing the latest news and other content on issues that matter to you. You must become a member to receive our weekly email digests.

As a member, you can also access some of our future services which will be exclusively available to members, contribute articles and participate in our discussion forums.

Organisational partnership

As an organisation working on ICT and bridging the digital divide, you can become a partner of Digital Opportunity Channel. You will enjoy greater visibility and have access to our discussion forums and many other benefits. You will also be able to network with our key audiences:

- Organisations and institutions working on innovations and initiatives in ICT worldwide

- Supporters of ICT campaigns and initiatives NGOs seeking to interact with others with shared interests

- Journalists, researchers and other professionals

- Academics and students working on the digital divide and ICT-related topics

- Policy makers and influencers within governments and international financial institutions

Other benefits

Your organisation can take an active role in Digital Opportunity Channel. You can collaborate with us on common projects, provide original content or take responsibility to produce content on specific topic area in which you have expertise.

On Digital Opportunity Channel we highlight material on ICT and the digital opportunity published on our partner organisations' Websites and provide links to take audiences directly to those sites.

Our partner organisations will also have access to the channel's discussion forums and OneWorld's Online Support Centre. They will get opportunities to conduct or contribute to online conferences.

How to join

If your organisation is active in the field of ICT and you wish to participate in the work of Digital Opportunity Channel, we would like to hear from you. NGOs and other similar organisations can gain many other benefits by becoming OneWorld partners. If your organisation does not fulfil the OneWorld partnership criteria but publishes information related to ICT and the digital divide, please contact the channel editors at doeditors@oneworld.net for further information.

If your organisation is already a OneWorld partner

If your organisation is a OneWorld partner and you have selected ICT, Internet or Communications as your area of work during your application, relevant part of your content will automatically be highlighted on this site. You can see whether this is being done by checking if your organisation appears in the list of our partners.

If you are a OneWorld partner working on ICT and digital divide issues, but do not appear in our partners' list, please contact partnership@oneworld.net, or doeditors@oneworld.net.
