The Adopt Srebrenica Project, started by the Alexander Langer Foundation from Bolzana and Tuzlanska Amica Association from Tuzla. Many other people and associations from BiH, Italy and other parts of Europe joined in, aiming to support the development of the culture of peace and non-violent conflict transformation in Srebrenica.

Life and Voices of Srebrenica International Memory Week, August 24-29, opened last Sunday, August 24. The Memory Week is organized under the auspices of the Adopt Srebrenica Project, implemented by the Alexander Langer Foundation with the support by Tuzlanske Amica and other organizations.

A poll conducted in Goražde, July 23-25, shows that, in spite of public perception otherwise, the youth in Bosnia and Herzegovina is very much interested to get involved in decision making processes, but only if they are adequately informed. The analysis of the results shows that onesided communications adopted by authorities present the biggest problem to youth activism.

In July 2008, the first generation of students of United World College in Mostar (UWCiM) completed their studies for the IB Diploma, and were issued with their final results. A total of 88 students were enrolled while 86% obtained the IB Diploma. The average grade for students who passed the Diploma was 31 points out of a possible total of 45 points. Of the total number of students, exactly half (44 students) obtained 30 or more points. Of these, 28 students were from BiH.

The Coalition for Free Access to Information asked the National Telecommunications Agency (RATEL) to review the contents of the Regulation that defines the new activities for internet service providers (ISPs) in Serbia who will be now obligated to keep the data on the traffic of their users and present it to the competent authorities.
