07.02.2008 The fire that started on the Turkish ship Und Adriyatica yesterday morning, some 15 miles east off Rovinj, still burns, although it has lost much of its power. Experts estimate that there is little chance for explosion that could sink the ship. No pollution was released into the sea, so far.

18.12.2007 The Centre for Peace Studies from Zagreb currently implements the project for support and assistance to socially excluded people in Western Slavonia, mostly returnees that left the area in 1995.

12.12.2007 The Zelena akcija environmental association presented its Zero waste manual. The manual aims to show that waste management is much wider than the simple matters of waste dumps and incinerators.
