The Youth Initiative for Human Rights demanded from Serbian President Boris Tadic, the Prime Minister Kostunica and Minister of Justice Dusan Petrovic to intervene to prevent that Maja Stojanovic, YIHR activist, goes to prison on July 26, as ordered by the judge of the Misdemeanour Court in Nis.

The Association of Independent Electronic Media (ANEM) protests the adoption procedure of the \"General Binding Instructions on Conduct for Broadcasters\" and is disappointed at the fact that most of the objections presented in the public debate were not included in the text of the Broadcasters’ Code of Conduct.

The UN High Commissariat for Refugees (UNHCR) and the European Commission signed an agreement for implementation of 2006 Regional CARDS Programme, titled Regional Refugee Return in Western Balkans. The 12-month, one million EUR programme aims to improve and upgrade the sustainable solutions for remaining refugees, returnees and internally displaced persons.
