03.07.2008 The Centre for Development of Civil Society is concerned about the fact that instead of a Ministry of Human and Minority Rights, the competences in that area will be placed under the Ministry of Justice. CDCS finds that solution harmful in a variety of ways.

The campaign aims to raise public awareness and to warn the state institutions about the problem of trafficking in human beings in Serbia which is often neglected, in a society increasingly tollerant to violence and human rights violations.

09.06.2008 The Center of Modern Skills (CMS) warns the public about the fact that the new Skupština (Serbian Parliament) again doesn`t provide for adequate representation of women. The official lists of Members of Parliament announced by the State Election Commission show that just 21.6 percent of the MPs are women.

Criminal charges filed against guards at prison camps in Serbia.
27.05.2008 Zoran Šangut, President of Vukovar 1991 Associatio, and Sandra Orlović, deputy Executive Director of the Humanitarian Law Centre, filed a criminal lawsuit against 54 named commanding officers and guards in prisoner camps in Serbia to the office of Vladimir Vukčević, Was Crimes Prosecutor of Serbia.

20.05.2008 The Peace Caravan 2008 arrived in Pancevo on May 14 and its activities took place the next day, May 15, including a street action in the City Park and a concert later in the night. The Caravan set up the stands, panels and exhibition of photos and started the activities that were concluded with a concert by `Prljavi dripci` from Belgrade and `Štuka` from Pancevo.
