10.11.2004 The US Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Swedish Agency for International Development and Cooperation (SIDA) presented their Project for Promotion of Administrative Responsibility in Sarajevo.

09.11.2004 In order to address youth problems in areas of business and business ideas development, UNV/UNDP Integrated Youth Programme (IYP) together with the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo (EFSA), organized a series of lectures by Sarah Douik, guest assistant at the Economics Faculty in Sarajevo. The lectures are being held every Monday, at the Economics Faculty in 14.00 hours, and it will last until April 2005.

08.11.2004 UNDP BiH, in cooperation with the Council of Ministers and Employers Association of BiH today presented the UN Commission on the Private Sector and Development report "Unleashing Entrepreneurship - Making Business Work for the Poor.'' The report explores how to enhance entrepreneurship and private sector growth in developing and transitional countries.

05.11.2004 UNDP and UNV ran Integrated Youth Programme organized the “Education – Investment of the State” debate in Sarajevo, in cooperation with a gourp of young people from Bosnia and Herzegovina.

03.11.2004 The TI B&H Advocacy and Legal Advice Centre received more that 2,500 reports on cases of corruption and abuse of office. The high number speaks of the great presence of administrative corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina and of large-scale organized abuses in all levels of Government.

02.11.2004 Last Saturday, the Coalition for Protection of Vrbas River, made of environmental organizations from the region of Banja Luka, started collecting signatures for its petition to suspend the Concession Agreement for construction of two hydro-electric dams on Vrbas River.

02.11.2004 The National Human Development Report for Bosnia and Herzegovina 2003, “Millennium Development Goals” was selected by the 12-member UNDP Judging panel to receive special recognition for Support to the Millennium Development Goals.

29.10.2004 Httpool internet advertising network established and started operation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

28.10.2004 The US Government, through its Agency for International Development (USAID), and in cooperation with the Alfred Lerner Business and Economy College of the University of Delaware and the Faculty of Economy in Sarajevo, started the Sarajevo Graduate School of Business (SGSB). The School was officially opened yesterday in Sarajevo.

26.10.2004 The Working Group for preparation of the Law on Higher Education in B&H will define the draft-text of the Law at the next meeting scheduled for October 29, said for FENA Srdjan Arnaut, Member of the Group.
