The citizens of Macedonia don’t trust the media, shows the latest Early Warning Report prepared by the UNDP Office to Macedonia. According to the EWR, two thirds of the polled citizens don’t trust the media or the contents they publish.

The Humanitarian Law Centre (HLC) warns of the increasing pressure on the Council of the Special Department of the Belgrade District Court that hears the Djindjic assassination trial. Most pressure is put on presiding Judge Marko Kljajevic, which coincides with the announced completion of the presentation of evidence.

The Children's Human Rights Centre of Albania – CRCA and the Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities organised today the national workshop 'Child Labour: National and Local Mechanisms for the Elimination of Child Labour in Albania'. The workshop was supported by the Olof Palme International Center, a long-term partner of CRCA.

The 2006 Budget of the City of Rijeka, which is on the today’s agenda of the City Council, proposes reduced cultural budget by 18%. The reduction refers, above all, to financing of cultural programmes, while the funding available for salaries and infrastructural costs of public cultural institutions remains at the same level.
