A group of 40 bloggers, gathered around the BLOGGER.ba service, submitted an initiative to the Assembly of the Canton of Sarajevo, demanding a vote of no-confidence for the Cantonal Government led by Prime Minister Samir Silajdić.

Last Saturday, February 16, the BORNA Blogging Committee for Referendum on NATO was created in Zagreb. The Committee gathers individual bloggers active on blog.hr and bloger.hr portals, and on the group portal pollitika.com.

Pokret Dosta! najotrije osuđuje najnoviji prijedlog Zakona o dopuni Zakona o prekrajima protiv javnog reda i mira Vlade KS, a posebno prijedlog odluke o ograničavanju kretanja maloljetnih lica u Kantonu Sarajevo.

Nikola pirić, President of BiH Council of Ministers and Pierre Mirel, Western Balkans Director of the General Directorate for EU Expansion, signed the Framework Agreement on rules of implementation of European Commission assistance for BiH, under the IPA (Instrument of Pre-Accession Assistance).

Predsjedavajući Vijeća ministara BiH Nikola pirić i direktor za Zapadni Balkan Generalne direkcije za proirenje EU Pierre Mirel potpisali su jučer Okvirni sporazum o pravilima saradnje za provedbu finansijske podrke Evropske komisije BiH u okviru Instrumenta za pretpristupnu pomoć (IPA).

Civil society organizations demanded from the Croatian Sabor (the Parliament) to name the external members of Parliamentary Committees in a clear and transparent procedure, to reduce the number of laws adopted in an urgent procedure, and demanded greater transparency from the Government in terms of allocation of funds from the State Budget.

Organizacije civilnoga drutva zatraile su od Hrvatskog sabora da se vanjski članovi u saborske odbore imenuju jasnom i transparentnom procedurom, da se smanji broj zakona u hitnom postupku, a od Vlade su zatraili veću transparentnost kod dodjele proračunskih sredstava.

Sanjin Buo, member of OWPSEE team and experienced human rights and social justice activists in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Southeast Europe, was arrested during the protests last Wednesday, February 13, in front of the Government of the Canton of Sarajevo. Provoked by diverse interpretations of the information surrounding his arrest, Buo addressed the media and the general public with a public statement, with the aim to clear up certain muted points and accusations against him. Protesti protiv pogorsane sigurnosne situacije u gradu Sarajevu, zapoceti proslu subotu, a direktno uzrokovani brutalnim ubistvom sedamnaestogodisnjaka Denisa Mrnjavca, nastavili su se i danas, ispred zgrade kantonalne vlade u Sarajevu, ovaj put sa konkretnim zahtijevima za ostavkama gradonacelnice Sarajeva Semihe Borovac i premijera Kantona Sarajevo Samira Silajdjica.
