12.12.2007 The Roma Children Centre of Serbia (DRC) reacted to the statement by the Mayor of Topola, who “rose to prominence” leading the action against the promotion of Pescanik radio show in Arandjelovac, to Blic daily (Saturday, 8.12.), that he plans to “...fence off the Roma with walls and wire“.

12.12.2007 Dečiji romski centar Srbije reagovao je na izjavu predsednika Opštine Topola, koji se “proslavio” kao vodja akcije protiv promocije emisije “Peščanik” u Aranđelovci i koji je izjavio dnevnom listu Blic (broj od subote, 8.12.), da ce “...ograditi Rome zidovima i žicom“.

This year, also, Taksirat Music Festival joined the MTV Movement Campaign for tolerance and respect of diversity, launched at this years EXIT Festival. The Saturday’s event concluded a full week of concerts, all under the Taksirat cover.
