30.06.2008 Britanska grupa korisnika Unixa (Ukuug) obžalila je odluku Suda da ne naloži reviziju odluke Britanskog institute za standarde (BSI) da glasa u korist OOXMLa u Međunarodnoj organizaciji za standardizaciju (ISO).

11.02.2008 Potpredsednik Vlade Srbije za evropske integracije Božidar Djelić izjavio je da će zatražiti od Brisela 500 stipendija u vrednosti od 10 miliona evra za finansiranje školovanja studenata iz Srbije u zemljama članicama Evropske unije, i najavio je formiranje nacionalne agencije za mlade, koja je preduslov za dobijanje sredstava iz evropskog budžeta za studente iz Srbije.
